The FMP research groups Membrane Traffic & Cell Motility (led by Dr. Tanja Maritzen) and Drug Design (led by Dr. Ronald Kühne) invite for a joint project applications for the position of a Post-doctoral researcher (m/f) working 39 hours/week on a limited contract for 24 months and starting on 1st February 2018.

Job description:
Investigation of Ena/VASP mediated protein-protein interactions in dendritic cell migration

The candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in cell biology, biochemistry or molecular biology and should be highly experienced in molecular biology/biochemistry techniques like cloning, WB, FACS, protein affinity purification as well as in methods to study cell invasion and migration. We expect extensive experience in state of the art microscopy techniques and live-cell imaging. Knowledge about dendritic cells and actin dynamics is advantageous.
We are seeking a highly motivated, proactive and energetic candidate with strong communication skills. The mastery of the English language in word and writing is required to work in our international research environment.
